Hello,
My name is Hudson and I am 4 years old.
Like most kids, I love to jump on my trampoline, ride my bike, play outside and watch the Vancouver Canucks! My least favorite thing is when I have to go to the hospital.
On the outside I look like everyone else, but I have cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a fatal, genetic disease that affects my lungs and digestive system. To stay healthy I have to get up early to do physiotherapy, take a lot of medicine and keep away from germs. Sometimes I have to miss out on school and fun activities because others are ill and I don’t want to get sick because I could end up in the hospital.
Despite all the treatments, medicine and hospital visits, I don’t let this disease get me down or stop me from doing the things I love. Thanks to your support of the doctors, who are working hard to take care of me, I am looking forward to my future of becoming a professional hockey player!
